2024 / A Visual Archive of Seasonal Expressions

Lark Gift

Lark Gift is an ongoing seasonal gifting project that transforms traditional festivals into contemporary brand experiences. From packaging and visual storytelling to motion, digital interfaces, and media communication, each gift box extends beyond the physical object to create a complete emotional journey. Across different festivals, I explored how cultural symbols, material details, and interactive moments could work together to make every gift feel personal, memorable, and distinctly Lark.

Reimagining New Year Gifting Through Craft and Storytelling

For the 2024 Spring Festival, I developed a gift box inspired by the warmth of reunion and the optimism of a new beginning. The design combines packaging structure, illustration, texture, and color into a cohesive visual system that brings traditional New Year sentiments into a contemporary Lark context. The project expanded beyond packaging into office art direction, motion design, user interface design, WeChat red envelope skins, and promotional content—turning the gift into a connected seasonal experience across physical and digital touchpoints.

Translating Dragon-Boat Festival Culture into a Contemporary Visual Language

The 2024 Dragon Boat Festival gift box explores how traditional cultural imagery can be reinterpreted through a more expressive and contemporary design approach. I used AIGC-assisted visual development to build the key visual, then translated the visual language into packaging and promotional content. The project focused on creating a balance between cultural recognition and visual freshness, allowing the gift box to feel rooted in tradition while remaining relevant to a modern audience.

Mid-Autumn: Making Energy Visible Through Light, Color, and Material

The 2024 Mid-Autumn Festival gift box was designed around the idea of energy—something invisible, yet constantly present in human connection. Through AIGC-generated key visuals, packaging design, and material experimentation, the project created a visual narrative that connects the moon, warmth, and shared moments. Temperature-sensitive ink was introduced as an interactive detail. As the surface responds to heat, hidden imagery gradually appears, turning the act of holding the gift into a small moment of discovery.

Building a Visual Archive of Seasonal Expressions

Lark Gift Inventory is an evolving collection of seasonal gift designs, visual assets, and cultural explorations. Together, these works document how one brand language can adapt across different festivals, materials, narratives, and communication formats. Rather than presenting each gift as an isolated campaign, the inventory reveals a growing design system—one that connects cultural moments with Lark’s values of warmth, creativity, and meaningful communication.
